You should be using tome of fire for the 50% added damage to fire wave. If I was you, I'd keep going on the mage level and get 95 for fire surge. This is where the build really excels. Most people your combat with a similar build aren't 75 attack. They are 50 attack and use smoke battle staff into gmaul spec.Sang staff is BiS for DPS while Kodai is more useful for bursting/ barraging slayer tasks and/or the similar.
